The next part that I would like to go into detail about is the Les Mills Combat schedule. There are three schedules that come in the Fitness Guide—the Combat Warrior schedule, the Supreme Warrior schedule and the Ultimate Warrior schedule. Each combat schedule corresponds with which package is purchased.

I will be going over the Ultimate Warrior Les Mills Combat schedule because that is the kit that I got. All of the schedules are set up the same way; the only difference is that with the Ultimate Warrior schedule there are a larger variety of workouts.

The Les Mills Combat schedule is set up for 60 days and it is broken down by each day and then into 9 weeks. I really like the Les Mills Combat schedule calendar because it is easy to use and follow. Every time I go to workout I know exactly which workout is planned for the day.

Each week is set up in a similar way by using mostly the same exercises each day, so I will go over each day and provide a picture below of the calendar itself.

Day One: focuses on Combat 30, Combat 60, Combat 60 Live, and Combat 45.

Day Two: focuses on HIIT Power and Inner Warrior, Warrior 1: Upper Body and Core Attack, Warrior 2: Lower Body and Inner Warrior, and HIIT Plyo and Core Attack.

Day Three: focuses on Combat 30 and Core Attack, Combat 60, Combat 60 Live, and Combat 45.

Day Four: focuses on HIIT Plyo and Inner Warrior, HIIT Power and Inner Warrior, Warrior 1: Upper Body and Core Attack, and Warrior 2: Lower Body and Inner Warrior.

Day Five: includes Combat 45, Combat 30 and Core Attack, Combat 60, Combat 60 Live, and Combat 45 and Core Attack.

Day Six: includes Warrior 2: Lower Body, Warrior 1: Upper Body, Combat 45, Warrior 1: Upper Body and Core Attack, Combat 60, Warrior 2: Lower Body and Inner Warrior, HIIT Power and Inner Warrior, and HIIT Plyo and Core Attack.

Day Seven: Rest day.

The main differences between the Combat Warrior, Supreme Warrior, and the Ultimate Warrior schedule is that the Ultimate Warrior has two workouts to do most days and the other two schedules only include one workout each day. As well, the Combat Warrior has two rest days, whereas the Supreme Warrior and Ultimate Warrior only have one rest day.

Now, I will go into detail about what each workout means. Combat 30 is a kick start into the workout program and contains the basic Les Mills Combat moves. Combat 45 is a cross training workout that teaches martial arts techniques and flow. Combat 60 is extreme cardio to increase endurance and push the body. Combat 60 Live is the Ultimate Warrior’s workout. It is an complete body workout to target every muscle through martial arts.

Power HIIT is high intensity interval training that uses bursts of maximum effort and then a recovery period which will help the body loose great amounts of fat to get a lean body quickly. HIIT Plyo is similar and increases athletic ability, power and endurance.

Warrior 1: Upper Body – strengthens the upper body muscles with body weight exercises.
